Hi My Name is Helen & I live in the Uk in West London . My profile photo was taken a year ago when I was 11st 4lb .. I'd like to be back there again.
A lady I met at work recomended this site so I thought I'd give it a go .
Over the last two years I have lost 2stone but unfortunatly this year Ive gained 10lb , now I know thats not the end of the world but I just don't seem to be able to get back on track So I'm hoping myfitnesspal with help me do this . I found when using Weight Watchers the "food tracking " really helped .
My aim is to lose 3 or 4 pounds before my holiday on September the 1st ... Ive not done calorie counting for years....so here we go.

Good luck! Counting calories will really help you make better food choices. There are a ton of items already listed so you don't have to spend forever figuring out how much each item is worth. Keep with it!!0

i've been on this site for just under 2 months and lost 1 and a half stones (21lbs), so i can't recommend it enough. because of the limits on cabs/fat & protein, it pushes you towards eating balanced meals. it can be a bit fidgety at first with logging all of your foods, but pretty soon you get used to it and develop good habits.
my one tip is to work out your calories in advance. i set mine out 1 week in advance, and then im off to the supermarket. that has saved me time and money. at the very least i would work out your calories for each day the preceding night, as working out your calories 'on the go' is difficult, tedious and a general recipe for failure (only my opinion though, eh!).
Good luck0
