Month 1...lost 17lbs
Month 2 ...lost 11 lbs
I am just finishing week 1 of my 3rd month and i weighed this morning ( instead of Monday as usual) and the scale hasent moved.
I am wondering if my metabolism is slowing down now and i need to do MORE with my exercise now. I just felt so down as i really expected to see something. I am hoping that Monday mornings weigh in will reflect something for the week. .

I have been on here for 45 days and my scale JUST NOW MOVED! I have lost more inches than pounds. Have you measured? If not, please do. Its a victory either way!0

Your body may be adjusting to the new stuff you are doing. maybe you hae to change it up a bit.0

11 lb in a month is an average of 2.5 lbs per week, thats not slow progress, thats awesome! Wait until your regular weigh in day, and make sure you weight at the same time of day. If I weigh in the morning, then again in the evening, I can have a 5lb difference. With that said, dont let the scale be your judge, take measurements or go by how your clothes feel instead, I only lost 3 lbs over 3 weeks, but I lost 2.5 inches in my waist. If you absolutely must weigh (like me), try to get away from the scale addiction, put it away, and only bring it out on weigh in day. Its the only way I can keep myself off the darn thing.0

There's no way to give you specific advice without seeing your diary or knowing more about your routine.
You might be retaining water this week due to exercise or hormonal changes. You my need to eat more to fuel your workouts. Your body may be used to your workouts and you need to do different things. Too many variables to get into specifics.0 -
Thank you for the responses...i suppose it is a combination of all those things. I never did measure when i started but i know the clothes are way looser. I usually only weigh once a week...same time etc. I'm going to just keep doing the right things and maybe add a little more exercise ( guess that means i need to put some effort into weights and just not cardio) and see what happens.
It must not be realistic to expect the same great losses every month huh. Thanks for all the support i appreciate it sooo much. Oh is there a way to make my food diary visible so others can see it?0
