I work in retail and I stand about for 4 to 6 hours a day and my feet are usually killing me after that. What can I do to get my exercise in?

I'm the same! I'm a student nurse and after getting up at 5am and finishing work at 3pm I'm normally exhausted after work and my feet are throbbing0

What about early morning workout? I'm not sure what time you usually work, but I was say try it before work, maybe at least a few hours, if that's possible.
I use to workout right after work, I work 8 to 10 hours a day and I'm a Computer Tech. I'm usually on my feet 80% of the day working on machines and lifting not so light machines. I would go to the gym, laugh....my energy just wasn't there and I would usually just go home and crash after the gym. Since Mar of this year, I decided to go before work. The first week of doing it, I was a bit sore during work, but the following week my body seemed fine with it.0 -
I work a ten hour shift and I'm on my feet almost all my shift, by the time I get home it's seven and I have to be up at half five! So I exercise in the morning, it's the only way I can fit it in, it's always a short workout but it's always quite intense. Everyone always has a spare twenty minutes in their day0

I work 8-10 hour days always on my feet and am able to come home and do a 45-60 min workout just fine. I'm going to have to say it's probably your shoes!0

I work a nine hour shift with a standing desk at work and I work out after work Mon-Thu (Friday's are my night off from working out). I get home, cook and eat dinner, prepare all of the food for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for both my husband and I and then go workout. Sometimes I don't get out of the house to the gym until close to 11pm, but I never miss a workout. It's just about making it happen rather than making excuses.

My weekend job requires me to be on my feet walking around. I found these champion shoes designed for walking and my feet and back quit hurting after work0
