For the next two weeks I'm on a shift that will involve me eating dinner at work. What are some good ideas of foods that will re-heat well that I can take with me?

I bring grilled chicken and steamed broccoli or cauliflower with brown rice for lunch. they reheat ok. I switch up the spices so I dont get bored.

I take chicken breasts, brown rice, and sauteed mixed veggies.

I also take a small spinach salad just in case I get hungry again.

I found that making salads with black beans and brown rice thrown in the mix was delicious, sort of a healthy version of taco salad. I just used lime for my dressing and it was pretty delicious, but I know Kraft has some low fat/low cal tasty salad dressings if that's your thing. I've been in training for the last two weeks for teaching and have brought everything from canned tuna, apples and cheese with me to chicken breast and asparagus in a reheatable container. It all boils down to how much you plan ahead for your meals--I've been making enough food for 3 days at a time, so lots of chicken and tilapia! I also mix up my spices--curry, oregano, salt and pepper, you name it.

High temp cooked eye of round makes great roast beef. Open face roast beef sandwiches (with gravy) or over a baked potato, or over mashed potatoes.
