New to MFP----hoping to keep the motivation

Motivation has always been hard for me. I eat for many reasons....usually not because I'm hungry. I've struggled with weight for as long as I can remember, and only once have I really tried to lose. It worked very well, for a couple years. I would like to get back into some sort of shape....for health, mood and self confidence. I'm hoping to find some of the motivation I have trouble giving myself.

Welcome! MFP is such great motivation! Everyone is here basically for the same reason! We are all trying to loose weight! My best advise....log your food! I quit logging for a couple of months and I hit a huge plateau and have been back now for about 15 days and I've lost 5 pounds since I started logging! You will always have your up and down days...as we all do but as long as your are really determined and have your mind set you can do it!!:happy:0

Hi! I'm new to MFP as well. I, too, have the same issue: staying motivated! I also eat for various reasons...and 9 times out of 10 it's not hunger! I'm re-commiting to a healthy lifestyle and I hope we all make it to our goal weight! Enjoy your new lifestyle!0
