I really never saw anything wrong with the first picture... I thought it was such a wonderful photo of me.. Oh boy was I wrong... My eyes lied to me! lol

It might of been a nice picture then, but now when I look at it, I see it and am like, how come I couldn't see how fat my face was before????????? It took me over a year to see anything wrong with that picture believe it or not...

Anyone else deal with some sort of Body Dysmorphic Disorder? I hear it takes quite a while for the mind to catch up with what you actually see after big weight loss.. And I suffer from that still to this day, but it is getting a little better...Pictures help a lot, the mirror, well I still fight this everyday... I would love to hear from other people that are going threw this crazy mind game and what helps you...

I know what you mean. A while back when l lost a lot of weight, l found that l was still buying size 12 Uk clothes instead of 10Uk. Also, was uncomfortable with the new appreciation l was receiving from men :-). This time, l am doing this for me and will enjoy every attention l get and l can not wait to get into my size 8's again. Getting there on my top but the lower part of my body is my problem area so know that it will take a while but l am determined to get there.
