Breaking the plateau and looking forward. :)

I had been stuck between 196 and 194 since April but then I got my job at an Amazon warehouse. I've worked there for a month and lost 5.4 pounds. I'm hoping if I can keep this rate of loss up that I'll be down 20 pounds by 2013. So yeah, I'm challenging myself. Who's with me? :D

Wasn't sure to post this in Success Stories or here so I flipped a coin and here it is. XD

I'd love to join but I weigh only once a month and this makes me an awful motivation partner. I even feel awkward being motivating because I read what I write and cringe about how corny it sounds.

You have my best wishes though and if you want someone to check in on you, I could volunteer for that. But what I think you are looking for is a weight loss partner.

Well I care... I have been stuck in the dull drums for weeks and was interested in your progress and how you got off dead center. So are they hiring at Amazon?

Well, I guess I was just publicly announcing a challenge to keep myself accountable. My mom is losing weight with me but she says she'd be lucky to lose half of that by the new year. But if someone wants to take the challenge with me, I'd appreciate it! :D

Thanks! I was kinda joking since no one posted for a while but it's nice to know you care. :D

Yeah, Amazon was how I broke the plateau and yes, they are. We hired about 40 new employees this past week. If you're serious about applying, you can go to SMX Management's (temp agency Amazon hires through) website and see if there's a warehouse in your area. They really need the help for the holidays and the pay's not bad for what you're doing. If you were joking, I'm sorry if I completely missed that. I do that sometimes. :P
