You really need protein in your diet. It;'s an essential for building muscle. What does your diet like now? Can't really help with out knowing. But how about adding in protein shakes? Eat Greek yogurt, chicken, fish, turkey.0

Thanks that does help I do eat fish and chicken just not daily I am quite satisfied to eat a big salad and move on ... so I cant seem to get enough protein in per day to satisfy the protein quota ... I am going to start to try adding protien powder to my smoothies I just need to be careful as I am highly allergic to Soy Protein so it has to be 100% whey ... Thanks again.0

My trainer has recommended after each workout to drink a protein shake if i can't get home to cook some eggs. He said the window your body burns the most calories are 45 minutes afer you finish your workout. i have found at costco protein shakes (30g per serving) and it tastes really good. so i drink that on my way home.0

why not have a chicken, tuna, egg or cheese salad, rather than just a salad ?0

You can still lose weight without it. Unfortunately that weight will include your lean muscle. Then when you get to goal you will have a lower BMR because you lost too much muscle. It is very important to get it in. For many reasons not just this. It also gives your body essential amino acids and provides of sense of satiety. Not to mention it tastes good.0

Taste is a matter of opinion I dont enjoy it, simply put ... but you did answer the question that it is important so thank you ... I will force it down as it important to me to build up my muscle mass while loosing the fat.0
