Ok so I cleaned up the area where I do my exercise ( Walk Away the Pounds and I have other tapes but not able to do them at the moment purchased them with good intentions LOL ) and I have what you guess would be the eqivalant of a total gym but I have never used it > we bought it for my son and husband but honestly it does not get used much. So after a lot of reading about strength training being good for woman I thought I would try it out. Have been doing research but it is overwhelming all that is out there and I really do not know where to begin. I am not very strong and a bit uncooridinated so I don't want to cause injury to myself. I am looking for a very BASIC routine I could start with and from there. I would like to thank you in advance for your reply.....

bodybuilding.com has a section where they point to a muscle, and then you click on it, and it suggest different exercises for that muscle. I would start with something for Biceps, Triceps, chest, back, and something for hamstrings and quads on your legs.

I feel like I post about this book all the time and I swear I'm not trying to advertise lol but check out the Women's Health Big Book of Exercises. There are like 500 different exercises plus a variety of routines/programs at the end. I did a 12 week program called "Get Your Body Back" at the beginning of this year and I loved it.
