Hi, just having some questions about the raspberry ketone.
Anyone ever taken it? Have you had any success?

And if you have taken it, does the fat come back once you stop?

If you know anything about this, please reply!

I'm not exactly proud of this, but I ordered the ketones off Amazon when I saw Dr. Oz endorse them on his show. I think that I am somehow allergic to the ketones because I noticed that every time I'd take them, I'd wake up with a sore throat. They are so huge that they made me gag, so one day I decided to open the capsule and just take the powder. My throat felt awful for a week and a half. So while I'm not the best to ask about whether or no it aided weightloss, I do think you should be mindful of watching for similar symptoms. I wanted to try them, but I didn't think he sore throat was worth it. I think the most times that I took them in a row was 3 days or so. I lost ounces, not pounds--but I didn't really watch what I ate then. I also always felt that empty feeling that you feel when you're not hungry or when you wake up in he morning with like nothing inside of you...I wasn't hungry at all, but my body felt that way. I also did lighter which I think made me more energized.

I gave the pills to my boyfriend and he lost 5 pounds a week, and he eats horribly; after the 5 pounds, they just maintained his weight which was a good thing considering his eating habits.

At work, we sell it like crazy.
Some of the heavier people seem to be reporting results.

I don't think they're a substitute for better eating or exercise.

It's supposed to be the same "compound" or what ever as synehperine... which they started to use after ephedrine was taken out of diet pills.

Most people say it helps with appetite.

I tried it (got a nice discount at work) and didn't notice anything.

They're great for working through a "plateau" while preventing "starvation mode" in overweight people who eat 1200 calories per day but don't eat back their exercise calories, so long as they maintain a "clean" diet. However, if you're a woman and lift heavy, you're going to bulk up anyway, so don't waste your money.

I am on my second bottle. I bought them from a health food store. Pure Raspberry Keytones. I feel like they help, but really don't know because I dramatically changed my diet and am exercising too. I am losing weight faster than I ever have, so maybe they are helping? it was $30 for a 90 day supply so I would say it's worth a try. I have also lost on my thighs and hips but again don't know if that's from the yoga and eating well or if hey are helping!

In practice they have been shown to reduce weight gain in overfed rats. If you are an overfed rat and you wish to reduce your weight gain then you may want to buy some.

However, given that you are not a rat and you are probably not overfeeding, I would save your money.

Also, placebo effect is a strong thing.

no, a woman will not bulk up any quicker than a man, even if they lift heavy for years.

U do realize that everything u said is complete bs as well, right? Starvation mode doesn't exist.. unless you have about 8% body fat...which no one considering raspberry keytones does. Also, women are not going to bulk up by lifting heavy unless they are going thru sex change procedures and on testosterone hormone supplements. And, the are not great for working through a plateau there is no evidence stating that... same goes for your statement regarding a clean diet.

    Turn Dr. Oz off bro.

There's no fast way to lose weight without some kind of back fire or unwanted side effect. Just work hard, and eat healthy. It may be slow, but it pays off better in the long run and your body will even feel better on the inside.

I eat them with my chia seeds every day.......I am losing like 1lb/day......Im also taking the "Itworks" supplements though.....so it's probably a tossup of what's doing it......

Sweetheart, you're forgetting to mention the schnozberries. They're a great appetite suppressor, given that they taste like schnozberries.

I've seen a lot of people make these comments about Dr Oz. How exactly is he making money off it if people aren't buying from him. It's not like he sells supplements. Just curious.

They probably work to some degree. But they don't teach you to eat healthy or to exercise so as soon as you stopped the pounds would come back. Best to do a lifestyle change then a diet. However, if your doing both it probably won't hurt.

I have just started the raspberry ketone, not expecting any miracles but if they work great, if not i wont buy any more, if you want to add me im happy to keep you informed as to how i get on.

Here they cost £10 for a months supply, £2.50 a week , no big loss if it dont work and id easily spend £2.50 on crap every week anyway.

My friend has also just started the Acai Berry as thats reported to be better with much better results, so im waiting to see how she gets on with that.

Dont go into expecting anything great, then if nothing happens your not disappointed and if it does its a bonus :-)

    Well said.

I went through a "Dr. Oz" phase and bought into the Raspberry ketone thing. They are the only thing that seemed truly harmless to try, so I did. Results? No difference. Don't waste your money, and i recommend watching Dr. Oz in moderation. :)
