Heya :)
I did a quick Google search, no helpful results =[
Was wondering if anyone knows which is healthier for light frying [mainly onions and stir-fry's]..... 10g of salted butter, or a tablespoon of Vegetable oil?

I don't use either. Vegetables do pretty well in a pan without either of those because of the moisture in them.

If you're only using a small amount, I don't think it's going to make much difference. I use butter for flavour and oil for cooking.

Having said that, 10g of butter or a tbsp of oil is way more than you need - try using a non stick pan and halving that amount.

I think the more important thing is which is the appropriate choice for what you are cooking. Most of the time I use oil unless I need butter to impart its flavor into my dish.
