      I'm about 5'7"-5'8", not sure. I'm currently 171 lbs. (I've lost 27 lbs so far since January).
      Currently in a size 13/14-15/16 depending on the brand. I have always had wide hips, thick thighs & a big butt..
      My goal is to get back down to about 160 lbs & back into atleast an 11/12, maybe even a 9/10.

      Reading this thread makes me depressed deeply.
      Seems that I have HUGE hips.
      I am 5'10, 171 lbs and I wear jeans in 32-33. Depends on the label.
      I hope the european sizes are completly different, but when I converse the size to american size I end up in 16! :sad:
      When I had 196 lbs I wore Jeans in 36.
      So I just have some individual success...

      5'10", 140lbs., and I wear 2 or 4 most places. A lot of this not only depends on weight, but body composition as well.

      A bit taller than 5'10 and weigh 170 right now and wear size 8/10. When I am 150, like I usually am, I wear 6 or 8.

      Same height, 184, size 10/12. My goal is 8/10 - hoping 170 or a little above gets me there!

      Here, I have jeans sized 32/33 in my closet (American waist circumference sizing). I wear a 10/12 and I weigh more than you. Don't be too hard on yourself! My guess is that you would SWIM in an American size 16.

      Wow, I was expecting bigger. I'm 5'10...and 210 lbs.. I wear size 16/18 (down from the 20/22 I was wearing 20 lbs ago)... I have very large hips. Haven't been down below a size 12 since I was 13 years old. Not even sure it's possible...:embarassed:

      I am pretty much the same here--I'm 6' tall, right now 235 lbs. I wear an 18 right now, but I've never been smaller than a 12, and I was usually a 14. I don't think i'll be smaller than a 14, but I'll be fine with that when I get there. I'm an hourglass.

      I dont think its my hips though. It the huge spare tire around my waist that i refer to as my "butt in the front"

      I'm 5'10 with hips and thighs that are determined to stick around. Currently able to fit into a 12 but still wearing my 15s :)

      I find this thread fascinates. a lot of girls, who are shorter then me, but weigh the same or more, wear a smaller size! I'm curious if this is a case of people squeezing into smaller sizes then i'm comfortable with, discrepancies is brands/ styles/countries. or If i'm just a lot hippier then i thought!

      I'm 5'10 right now sitting at 161 and I am just fitting back into pants that are int he size 10/11/12 (depending on the brand/style) range. at my skinniest of 145, with about 17% body fat, i still wore size 10 (never got below size 30-32 waist).

      5'7", 185 and size 14/16. 16 is what I've been wearing forever, but they're so loose and baggy. I can fit into the 14's but they're just a tad bit tight depending on the brand, but I've got a few pairs I can get away with wearing. Hoping they start getting baggy soon!!!
