Hi everyone, My name is Ivana,I am 25yrs old. I live Colorado with my husband, two kids, and four pets, and am looking to lose about 25lbs. I was always about 110-115lbs, but when I went off to college at 18, I lived off carl's jr and taco bell and gained about 30lbs within the two years! I then had two kids, I did not gain any extra weight with them, but I never lost my college weight, either. I miss my skinnier self. In my head I still see that 115lb girl and I am always shocked when clothes don't look how I imagined, it's very disappointing. I am only 5'2" so I need to lose weight for my bones, too. I used to run track and cross country and I used to bike to work, I feel like I have no energy lately and I attribute that to the extra weight. I am going to do Tae Bo and focus on eating healthier, cutting out soda completely, no chips or other junk foods, either. I also plan on walking more with the dogs. I hope to lose the weight in about 5-6months and keep it off.
I will be working out in my home only as I cannot afford gym membership, if anyone lives in the denver metro area, or Aurora, Co and would love to work out with me at home, let me know! I could use the motivation!!![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I am so excited and determined to start this journey!
I am also still breastfeeding my son, so that puts some restrictions on what I can and can't do and how much weight I can lose per week. Looking to make some friends on here to go through this journey together!!

I know exactly what you mean about still being the skinnier you in your head. I was always very thin and never had any problems with weight until my 30's (I'm 39 now). The weight came on a few pound at a time. I still think of myself as that thin girl and am always shocked (and kind of mortified) when I see pictures.0

YES!!! I was always thin, my nicknames were twiggy and skinny minnie!! I could eat chips, ice cream, cookies and never gain weight! But after those two college years I put on weight and now I can't get it off. I am lucky that it stopped at 140-145, but still. Yeah I see pictures or look in the mirror and am like "oh my! am I really that poochy in the middle?? ugh!" I hate it!0
