Since I live in Maine, I need to think ahead about winter...the LONG winters!...and figure out a way to continue exercising. What's your favorite video? Wii game? Anyway INSIDE (but gym) for exercising?

I like Leslie Sansone's Walking at Home videos, they are simple but I work up quite a sweat while doing them.
I recently got a Wii balance Board, and am using that nowadays. The Wii Fit game that comes with it isn't very good, so I bought the Wii Fit Plus game which is a lot better. Not only are there more exercises, but it also allows you to set up an exercise routine so you don't have to constantly go back to the menu, and it tells you how many calories you've burned.
I'm still obese and very unfit, so both are plenty of challenge for me.
If you are already working out and at a reasonable fitness level, you might want to check out 30 Day Shred video. On the Wii EA Sports Active is supposed to be very good (again it needs a balance board) or the "My Fitness Coach" games.
Oh, the Wii also has Zumba, and on YouTube you should look up Tiffany Rothe, who does free 10 minute exercise videos that you can mix and match into a workout.

There are plenty of ways to keep active inside, I hope you'll find something that suits you0 -

I love Wii Walk It Out. For videos, Leslie Sansone's Walking videos (it's truly not just walking in place) and any of the Core Fusion videos.0

Brazil Butt Lift. It's one of the Team Beachbody Workouts (the same company that endorses P90x, P90x2 and Insanity...) It's amazing. :happy:0

Right now I'm all over bob harper DVDs. I do the inside out method cardio - 60 minutes and sometimes only half of it ( like today I did half of it and then went on the stationary bike for 20 minutes and then the treadmill for 10 ). 30 day shred is good. I do zumba on the wii (and feel foolish but it burns cals) and wii fit but it doesn't burn very many calories!0

If you're looking videos any of Jillian's videos are great i hear, especially the 30 day shred. On the Wii, I almost always use the Wii game called Exerbeat, you can make personal training, it has dance aerobics, hiphop, latin dance, karate, boxercising, yoga, pilates and stretching, as well as fun games that burns calories..
Wii gold's gym is great too!0 -

I do the EA Active 2--- and it's cheap right now, I paid $10 (it's 20 online) for it brand new at Wal-Mart. It works with a resistance band which comes with the game (though I replaced it with a nicer one), and then you can also incorporate handweights if you have them or the Wii fit balance board. I enjoy it a lot and am doing the 9 week program now. It even tracks your heart rate when you're playing. It used to have online features where you could track your history but EA doesn't support that anymore. http://www.walmart.com/ip/EA/14090060
I also love Zumba 2 for the Wii. I play it almost everyday and it gives me a great workout. I think zumba is fun but I feel really self-conscious in the group classes. When I play on the Wii no one can see how goofy I look!
And I play Just Dance too-- it's a good workout when I want to get some cardio in. And honestly, I have a lot easier time getting up and playing Wii then getting to the gym lots of days.0 -
Jillian Michaels Kickboxing is awesome! ;-)0

I started with EA Sports Active 2 (does not require a balance board, ) but I wasn't getting the results I was hoping for. I didn't like the long pauses between exercises. It is fun, though, and provides a good variety of exercises which don't get boring. I moved on to 30 Day Shred, which is an excellent workout and is giving me better results. However, it can get tedious and I have to force myself to do it more than I ever did with EA Sports. I enjoy some of the 10 minute solutions videos, particularly Rapid Results Pilates, Cardio Kickboxing and Flat Belly Fast. Many of them are available on Netflix.0
