Hey everyone. So I have a few questions. Ive lost about 10 lbs so far and I want to loose another 10. For a while I was eating 1300 calories a day but then I sorta stopped seeing results so I lowered it to 1200. For a few weeks now ive been eating 1200 calories a day and seeing no results. My problem is that I have a huge buldge of fat just below my belly button. For years ive had it and decided at the beginning of the year I was going to loose it. Since loosing the first 10 lbs I lost about 2 inches on that buldge of fat but I still need to loose about 3 more inches before its flat. So my question is that ive read alot of people on here who have been saying to "eat more to loose more," is that really true? Should I up my calories to 1500? A far as what exactually I eat, I am gluten- free so I eat extremly healthy. I dont eat anything proccessed just natural. I try to eat high protein and low carbohydrates.
I live a pretty active lifestyle. Im in my school's marching band so we march for 2 hours everyday and I also do weights+ 3 days a week of HIIT on my elliptical. I typically burn about 300-500 cals a day. But I dont count marching band, just what I do at home. That extra 10 lbs has seriously took a toll on my life. It has made me have a poor self esteem, high stress levels, and just kinda depressed about it. So what do you think based on all this info I have thrown at you? Haha.

Something that helps contribute to visceral fat (the stuff that causes a tummy pouch and clings to your organs) is fake sugar, (like aspartame) and processed foods (processed meat like deli meat, processed breads, bleached grains, etc).
I have found what really kicks your weight loss into overdrive and helps eliminate that pouch is clean eating (i.e.- if it's processed, don't eat it)
Eat whole meats, starches that aren't refined, instead of white sugar use honey or agave.
Check it out and all the best in your journey!!0 -
i know this may not be what you want to hear. But I have a neice your age. She has severe cerebral palsy, no use of anything so she can't even hold a phone. You sound lovely. You look beautiful and only need to loose a little tummy bulge? You're in marching band which is awesome!
Keep up eating healthy, being active doing what you love, and focus on what you can do for others and give thanks. You're at a very hard age where there is so much i this world telling you how to look. TV is fake.
You in marching band, helping others, is real. Enjoy life. Every day is precious and so are you.0
