lemon water

anyone know anything about warm water with lemon juice first think after waking up to help with weight loss?

    I read that its supposed to jump start your metabolism in the morning. Not sure if it really works. But I do it alot of mornings. Started doing that when I was doing the 17 day diet.

    A lot of people feel this way.

    If you google it you will come up with a lot of information. Lemons are good for you.

    They have water coolers at the gym that have sliced lemons and limes in them. It's delicious!

    my sister in law does this every morning & she is like a stick figure. It supposedly aids in digestion.

    i usually have a glass of water with lemon in the morning, i find that it makes me feel good, i've heard it helps detoxify you, but who knows. try it for a bit and see how you feel.

    on one of the weight loss coach shows...one trainer told them that lemon water helps the liver process fat.

    I drink cold water with half a lemon squeezed into it in the morning... I don't know if it's helped with weight loss, but it's helped me curb my diet soda habit and my skin looks better!

    It does nothing to aid in weight loss, drink it if you'd like.

    Wow!!! I'll do this as well! Wonder if it's legit. Sounds like a myth but I'd like the pretty skin side effect. They say the same thing in Turkey.

  • Yep! It does help with weight loss, but I think that is mainly because it is a diuretic.

    I had found a book back in 2006 called the fat flush diet. I'm not sure what it all consisted of, but two things I took away from the book that I still use to this day. One was the lemon water, and two was drinking cranberry juice.

    It helped me lose water weight, but beware... it made me pee like a crazy woman.
