Summary of this video: An elderly obese lady is bullied by kids about her weight, being cussed at for being fat, made fun of her age and her clothing and accessory, told that if they took a knife and tried to stab her it'll go through her like a butter because she's such a fat *kitten*.

The harsh part about this video is that this isn't an isolated incident. These things happen a lot except this time it was filmed and public got hold of it. This is just disgusting

That poor lady. :( I can only imagine what type of parents these children have to learn such awful, cruel behavior...

    Yeah,

someone started an online fundraiser so she could go on vacation and had a $5000 goal.

You're telling me it's disgusting.. Crap like this happens all the time at the school where I work, but if it got filmed and posted, we would lose our jobs.. not get rewarded for being bulled by students and just sitting there.

She got over 700,000 dollars in donations.. and is now retiring.

Unfortunately this happens all the time they are kids. I really do not think people should have rewarded a person for being so weak, if you cannot deal with that type of situation that job is not for you. Either handle it or get out, there should be no pity for this.

Sounds harsh I know, but this is just contributing to the public perception of bullying and how it is every other persons fault but the person being bullied way of reacting to it.

I can understand that any job related to dealing with kids is a high demanding job and everything, but this could easily have (and most likely does) happen to anyone not affiliated with the school.

Here is my problem with this situation. If the monitor raises her voice, discipline the kids the old school way, the parents, from whom the kids most likely learned this behavior, are immediately going to sue to school. Here's another kicker, most kids nowadays due to internet knows perfectly that they're invulnerable and that anyone so much as grab them by the shoulder to take them out of the bus means a call to child protection agency.
