my brother has just enlightened me that hes planning on joining the Royal Marines Reserve Cor and told me about their training tool on their website. I thought id be curious and have a look!
this is how it works out on the calander
monday AM: Cardio PM: circuit
tuesday AM: Cardio PM: Circuit
wednesday: Rest Day
Thursday AM: Cardio PM Circuit
Friday: AM: Cardio PM Circuit
Saturday AM: Cardio PM Circuit
Sunday: Rest Day
now Circuit will consist of 9 of the following workouts in sets of 3 the 2nd set being the hardest/most intense of the 3
http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/custom/navy/trainingtool.html this is the website for more detailed info
Step ups
Box Jump
Knee Raise
Pull Ups
Half Sit
Sit Ups
Alt Elbow to Knees
Knees to Chest
Press Ups
Close arm Press ups
Wide Arm Press ups
Tricep Dips
Lunges
Squats
the ones i would pick from the above would concentrate mainly on the core and will probably pick a couple that focus on the arms
now i am seriously concidering partaking in this regieme but my fear is that i wont be consuming enough cals as it stands right now to fuel this workout, and weither or not this would be "over doing it"
i would really appreiciate any friendly feedback on how or whether i should approach this workout and what i should do next

Just input your workouts as Circuits on here and see how many calories it burns and take it from there.
You'll know if you're consuming too few calories if you are starving all the time. Just go for it and see how it goes.0 -

When I was in Afghanistan, I had the pleasure of serving with the Royal Marines. Of course us being U.S. Marines we always competed to out-do one another. This PT session is very intense if you actually put out one hundred percent. Of course every workout is that way. If you feel dizzy or lighthead, dial down the intensity but do not skimp on the workout as it is intended to be a full body workout. Good Luck and have fun. Let me know if you have any questions regarding any of the workouts.0
