Is that really the case for all low fat/fat free foods?

If the food is naturally high in fat, I'd have to say yeah, it usually is the case.

    HA HA! I love this!

I really suffered from sticker shock when I started reading labels - low fat is such a crock. Usually items are close in calories, and make up for losing good fats by adding tons of sugar or fake chemicals.

Ill stick with the full fat please!

Milk is a different story for example since milk fat~butter is already a byproduct.

Though we could argue if it's milk we're drinking or not.

so true. I have a whole pack of 99% fat free yoghurt in the fridge and after scanning the first one I'd say they will expire. Fat free is usually replaced with sugar which turns to fat anyway unless burned off. (and worse for you than many natural fats)

    ^ true dat.

I still go for some low fat because there is chemicals in processed foods anyways...and whenever I get the chance I buy off of local people for their eggs or veggies!

that's definitely the best way to shop. Sure, everything is loaded with chemicals, but some a lot more than others.
