August Bike Challenge

Is anyone interested in doing a biking challenge? I see a lot of walking challenges, but I was thinking this might be fun too. It can be a stationary bike or an outside bike. We can log our miles and our minutes and check in everyday with each other. I think it would be great motivation and encouragment. I hope we can get some people interested.

    Cool. My goal for August is going to be 200 miles for the month. Here is the link and instructions for a ticker if you would like one:

    Go to: www.tickerfactory.com
    Choose: Exercise & Fitness Ticker
    Pick your ticker background and icon.
    On the next page you have to complete all the fields
    Then when you click next, a page is displayed that has the code on it.
    Copy the bb code (what's in the box.)
    Come back here and paste it in your post.

    Every time you want to update, you will need to go back to tickerfactory and enter your password, update the miles(kms) and then copy and paste again.

    Count me in! I just got done training for Iowa's RAGBRAI. (riding your bike across IOWA) My plan was to ride two days which equaled 112 miles. And I did it. Now a need a new goal. I'm on a mission to lose weight, I have 55 to go.

    Oh, this is neat! I just got back into riding my stationary every morning, so this is perfect! Hopefully this will help keep me on track :)
