Yes, they will get easier. The more you do them, the easier they will be.

Yes they will get easier. You should check out bodyrock.tv, they have free body weight exercises posted every day and they will probably help you a lot as well. Most of them only take about 20 minutes.

Yes.. How many situps can you do now? How many pushups can you do now? Were those the only 2 things?

Yes. Just work slowly toward them. I wouldn't recommend doing it every day though. Give your muscles a chance to relax. Check out twohundredsitups.com they can help you work slowly towards your goal. They even have a pushups site I believe.

    ^^^This

Also you want to watch those videos to make sure that you have correct form. If you are not doing them right they will hurt your lower back and then you won't want to do them at all. Good luck to you!

Absolutely! Practice certainly makes perfect! Start with what can do, and everyday push yourself to add one more!

you can do them everyday...if theyre the only thing you do everyday.I did them a lot while in boot camp...and by graduation i was pumping out 63 and doing 115 crunches...but i would also run and incorporate weight training into your routine

A nice book to look into would be Convict Conditioning. Gives plenty of tips of push up progression, and while it doesn't really even suggest crunches, it gives you abs exercise that will definitely make those easier.

Calisthenics, when done properly, can be as intense and muscle building as weight lifting, so I would work hard every other day, rather than everyday. Or if you go with a routine like in Convict Conditioning, just alternate exercises and workout everyday. Just like weight lifting again :)

    Good luck!

I found these 2 challenges the easiest way to work into them. I've already done the push up challenge once and am in the middle of doing the push up challenge again with the sit up challenge at the same time. Follow the instructions and do take a day off in between (you will need it the further you go). I was amazed at how quickly my muscles adapted. Hope this helps!
