I have lost around 60lbs in the past 17 months. I have recently hit a plateau and the scale barely moves. I go up and down 4lbs with in days. Just wondering if someone can review my plan and let me know how it looks?? I have recently started doing pretty intense spurts on my elliptical and upping my intensity a lot and have added weights to try to get me past this plateau. I don't know if I should lower my calories or make them higher? I basically keep them pretty low and do not eat most of my excersize calories back. MFP has me eating around 1230 but since I workout so long and hard I eat 1500. I do NOT eat all t hose excersize calories back, but I enjoy a free meal on Saturday nights. I would like input from anyone that might now.
Workout 100 minutes elliptical M, T, W, TH, F, Sun
Weights and Abs- M, W, F, Sun
Monday-Thursday 1500 calories
Friday-1700 Calories
Saturday- Free Day/ no workout/no counting calories for dinner

I think you need to eat more.
Your body is not getting enough fuel for that much exercise and it is hanging on to every bit you put in.
I know that is hard to do, but, try it-just for 2 weeks.
Eat all your exercise calories and see what happens.
I bet you will be surprised.0 -

Oh, I forgot to add that I am f/45 and 5'7.5 and weigh 154. My goal is 145.0

I know-it is hard, but you're doing so great.
The worst thing that can happen is that the scale doesn't move-the best is that this works and it finally moves again.
You can do this.0 -
Thanks so much for the support!! Just so afraid of gaining...I will try it.0

I would try this along with cutting your cardio in half. At least in half. 100 mins a day 5 days a week isn't needed. Cut that down to 45 mins for those days and eat back the corresponding calories. See where you're at in two weeks and adjust accordingly.0 -
Thanks for all the help!!!0
