Pain after exercising?

So, I trained back 2 days ago and I felt fine after. Yesterday I was sore in my low back, but I was fine with that and expected it. Today I noticed that I have a pain in my back in the upper left and it hurts when I breathe in. Anyone ever have this? I'm just confused since I didn't hurt after lifting/make any jerk movements while lifting and it's not a pain in my muscle. It almost feels like a pain inside, but only when I breathe in.

Not to alarm u, and it's something that a lot of us have. It's called costochondritis. It's an inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone. It kinda feels like ur heart hurts when u breathe in. I have it and a lot of ppl have it. Nothing to be concerned about but u can go see a doctor if u want a physician's opinion.0

I'd say it's worth getting checked out. A physician should be able to tell if it's something related to your muscle/cartilage or if it's something that needs to be looked at closer.0

I am not sure, but, I don't know.......should it ever hurt to breathe in? I mean, if you are sore from a workout, you would be sore when you move around. But when you breathe?0

It does actually hurt right there, I think I will go see the Dr just to check. I agree that it shouldn't hurt when I breathe....I just got to thinking it was exercise related bc I had this before but it went away and it's come back. Makes sense actually since I am lifting so heavy.0 -
Have you tried streaching? The back is funny. And not ha,ha. I had back aches for a long time but one night , I woke from a sound sleep hollering in pain with my back. I had done nothing that I knew of. That began a nightmare of pain that ended with succesful surgery. It could possibly be an old injury that is aggravated. If streaching doesn't seem to ease it up you might get it checked.0

I think the visit to the Dr is a great idea. You might want to consider seeing a chiropractor and/or a massage therapist as well. My chiro really helps with my sore back muscles by keeping my spine aligned. :happy:0

Update, I have an appointment for tomorrow. My bones are just breaking down! OH NO!!! that or it's just some post lifting and it will get better. Think my body's telling me to not over do it?0
