No. They do eventually fade, but mine are lighter than my skin, just like any scar. Slightly lighter than skin is way better than purple. Mine are from growing, and I am not sure how long they took to fade, but way over 1 year. I did not use any creams etc0

Same here. Stretched stretch marks are red/purple and stand out. Not stretched marks are lighter than the rest of my skin, and there is still a 'break' in a lower skin level there, so when the skin is scrunched you see the lines. I haven't used any creams, and have no idea how long they take to fade. I would say that when they are no longer under pressure the fading starts.0
