Hello there. I am a 29 yr old mother of 1. I am 275 lbs and and need to lose 100 lbs. I not sure if this will work. I just joined. I am kinda confused cuz on my profile i put down my goals, and they put me on a 1500 cal diet. But my doc wants me on 1200 with a high protein diet. How can i follow a plan if this wont be correct. I have the lapband and my doc wants me to journal. Need some friends and support so we can get this party started.

  • Hey Pussnboots,

    I would say go with your doctors guidance he knows your history better than anyone. The journal is a great idea and if you use the food diary on here it totals your calories for the day. Once you cut out all the high calorie / fatty foods it isn't too hard to come in under the 1200 calories.

    Definitely go with your doctors advice, but if you tweak your goals to up the amount you want to lose per week on here it'll bring your daily calorie goal down that way you've got a clearer idea of how much you can have per day. hope that makes sense?
