Training two days running? Advice please

I normally (strength) train three times a week, taking at least one day on between sessions. I've just had a six day break (because I walked 30 miles over two days) an got back into the gym yesterday. I'm currently doing NROLW & am on stage 3. Will it hurt to go to the gym again today? I'm really in the mood for it (not in the mood for cardio though) & was wondering whether to go & do the next workout of NR's, go & do more reps with lighter weights or should I not go at all?

NRLW recommends a day of rest between workouts. I imagine you know that if you read the book.
With that said, the NRLW police wont nab you for going again. I would rest or do cardio today, but its up to you.0 -
Thank you
I have read the book... hence my procrastination!!
Guess I'm wondering if it is detrimental to go two days running, or whether it is just not overly beneficial.0
