Ji! I have been a member for years, but I'm getting back at it. I have taught 23 years already, and I am ready to begin a new year with a progressive superintendent who was hired this summer. He's planning to implement the 1 to 1 initiative, and the iPads have come! I'm excited, but I'm also worried about the stress will affect my motivation to work ot after school. My goal is to run a 5 k run in less than 30 minutes in October with my best friend. I have already lost 5.5 pounds, and school starts in 20 days. Currently with a run and walk combination, I can make it 2 miles in 30 min. Well that's where I am at, and I'm looking to friend others with similar interests in approach and/or stress reduction. I have an iPad, and the rogram is downloaded. I need friends to appear on my news feed!

I too have "re-started" a journey to better physical fitness. Up until last March I was unable to tolerate any physical activity due to a bad back problem. It is now fixed and I already down 19+ pounds in a little more than a month. I very much believe that one must make time for exercise. I am up 6 days a week at 0530 to do my 40 minutes on the elliptical....I cannot run due to a bad knee. My morning routine sets my day and i find myself able to deal with the stress and responsibility of the day with a positive attitude. Do become my friend . My name is Matt and I LOVE my iPad! Have a great day.0

Hello, I am new here. I have lost 50 lbs. before with Weight Watchers, and tracking what I eat and my activity. However, I got away from the meetings. It wasn't always convienient to get to them, and I have gained more than 30 back. I am older now and I don't have a wish to lose quite that much again, but I would like to drop 20-25 or so and feel better. I am a slug anymore and I know my weight is part of what is making me feel so drug out. -Plus the fact that I can't get into any of my jeans comfortably even tho I am up two sizes from what I was. My husnband and I both need to get healthier.0
