party help please

let me start my venting w/ HAPPY NEW YEAR!
now, i need assistance please. :indifferent:
i'm frusterated about thinking about today.:mad: i'm starting my day out w/ the best of intentions.:glasses: i'm going to do a good. long workout at the gym after i clean my home this morning.
but this afternoon/evening is my fear. i've invited a bunch of people to home home for an evening of drinks, food & fun. trying to be a healthy good girl, i skipped yummy, unhealthy munchies that i know i would not resist (like chips and dip) to offer my guests and i prepared a large plate of fresh veges to dip in ranch.:bigsmile:
but i know i'll enjoy wine too. and i predict i'll throw all caution to the wind and i'll eat whatever i can, the foods i'm offering that i dont LOVE but i like. (little smokies, pizza, quishes, and more)
just thinking about this makes me hate myself.:explode: :explode: :explode:
part of me wishes i could skip all this entertaining and stuff, but part of me loves it.
can you give me any advise? :huh: :huh:

Unfortunately I cant help. lol. Im staring at an arsenal of booze and am glad that I have the day off tomorrow.
Just be mindful of what you are eating today. Make sure that you go to the gym. And limit yourself to the munchies. Either way, if you give 100% 90% of the day, you are ahead of the game. Don't forget to enjoy your friends/family...

Happy New Year, have some fun and enjoy yourself. Make sure your bellys full with your healthy foods before your guests arive. Also make some foods your going to enjoy. Make some develed eggs, pizza a pita with zucchini, mushrooms, canadain bacon or morning star sausage and chicken, cut them into bite size pieces. Sunchips is a better choice for chips can have more then the regular chips. Also mix your alcohol with a diet mix, Im having gin and diet tonic with lemon. Fruit is also another idea. And the most important ingredient is................. ENJOY YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!:bigsmile:0

As I said on your news feed (but maybe it will help someone else too), you can't talk with your mouth full! Talk and laugh and play games with your company. Don't sit there shoving food in your mouth. If you're focusing on making sure THEY have enough to eat/drink, noone will notice you're enjoying a low cal evening. Happy New Year! :flowerforyou:0
