what is your preworkout routine

4 me mine is to picture what i'm gonna do, then write it down. next I have to go to the bathroom....(everytime) put on my workout gear( shorts,t-shirt) and finally my shoes. some of these might not happen in the same order but i have to go to the bathroom everytime i think about working out. I know i have problems with my mind games, BUT I WILL NOT LET MY MIND WIN!!!!!

1.) print off the strength routine of the day
    2.) bathroom
3.) put gym clothes and shoes on
    4.) top off water bottle

I used to have to have another bathroom break between cardio and strength training but that has stopped.

Listen to the little voice tell me I don't want to work out
Tell the little voice to stuff it
    Put on workout clothes
    Check Facebook on my phone
    Check Twitter on my phone
    Put on HRM
    Put on chest strap
Verify HRM can find my heart (it's small and cold,, but it's there)
Check Facebook again (might have missed something)
    Pet the cats
Find something to watch on TV that doesn't involve needed sound (Wipeout is a good one)
    Get on the treadmill
Check HRM hasn't lost my heart
    GO!

Sometimes the little voice causes a delay.......

Drink a preworkout or a monster.
    change clothes
    Get music going
    Get another drink
    Foam Roll

I am the same. I have to go to the bathroom before every time! I am so worried about having to stop on the run.

Crawl my tired-*kitten* out of bed, get dressed, snort some saline spray to clear out my sinuses, take my pre-workout drink, pour my peri-workout drink, get to the gym, warm-up, and hit it.

I keep a log that I have written for a few weeks ahead of time. My dynamic effort days are pretty cut and dry but I might adjust my max effort exercise to how I'm feeling and/or what equipment is available when I get there. My accessory work is planned out for the next 3 to 4 weeks.

I workout when i come in from work so basically......

    DO NOT SIT DOWN

pretty much just that. because if I sit down, I find it a hundred times harder to get up and start working out. I generally get a pint of water to keep near me while i sweat and just force myself to start while my brain is going 'nooo, you deserve a rest, just sit down for 5 minutes, you've been at work all day...' if that doesn't work Jillian Michaels seems to do the trick. she's a bit scary.

1 - Come home from work and immediately change into my workout clothes
    2 - Workout

That's as complicated as it gets. I decide ahead of time if it's strength or cardio day (or both) so I already know what needs to be done.

    Get on workout clothes
Watch 30 mins of Zumba commercials or Gilead
    Check Email
    Put Shoes On
Get a small bite of somthing
    Eat it while watching News
    Load Dishwasher
Play with Iphone (I am 43. How bad is that?)
Go to Rec Room and turn on DVD so I can hear the music start
    Go to Bathroom
    Stop and make bed
    Straighten up Living Room
Realize that I have stalled long enough (2 hours worth) and go get it done

Do I feel wonderful when I am done!
