Yoga Success

I'm planning on incorporating yoga into my fitness routine. I think it will greatly help me improve my balance, core and general well-being. However, I wanted to know if any of you regularly do yoga and what benefits you have found from the practice. Please also tell me what style you do an how many times a week.

    I do power yoga (Ashtanga) twice a week usually, sometimes once. It has helped me tremendously with developing strength (upper body especially), flexibility, and to a lesser extent, balance. My balance completely stinks, so that's going to take a looooong time to see progres. One thing it has helped with tremendously is in increasing range of motion on my other workouts and day to day activities.

    I mainly do Iyengar yoga 6x a week. Physically, the benefits are what you would expect: stronger, better balance, more flexible. But I also feel more calm and even tempered.
