Okay so I got on the scale today and I was 126. Don't get me wrong, thats great because that means I've lost 4 lbs. since I've been with MFP and I've been on it for 4 weeks, so its a good thing. Only thing thats kind of discouraging me is that everytime I get so close to my target (120), and I get to be about 125-126ish...it becomes SO hard to lose weight. My boyfriend says that its because I'm already in a healthy weight zone so thats why, but I know some of you have probably dealt with this..how did you do it? How did you get off those stubborn pounds? I'm thinking about starting to hit the gym twice a day. I just don't want to give up at the same point I always end up giving up at!

Thanks

I'm exactly in the same situation with my few pounds to lose.
I was thinking about going to the gym twice a day but that would mean giving up any other activities so I guess it's a bad idea  Weight and fitness is not everything. I just stick to my routine and diet and try to think more about other aspects of my life such as job, studies, family...
Don't be discouraged. Your weight loss is probably going to slow down a bit but don't give up :flowerforyou:

Those last few pounds are really hard to lose, I am looking to lose about 3 pounds and have been on MFP for about a month and lost 4 pounds. I plan on doing it for one month to continue the healthy mind frame and then will likely go on a three or five day juice fast. You really need to shock those pounds off. The important thing is to be able to get back to a normal lifestyle after the fast so that you keep the weight off. It sucks but unless you do something drastic those last pounds will not come off because you are already at a healthy weight, as am I.

I don't agree. There were lots of discussions about fasting and those kind of diets here and they just don't work and cause harm to your body. If you can't lose these few pounds in a healthy way during few months, than this is probably the place your body need to be. 3 pounds it's really nothing, this is how much your body goes up and down every day. It's just a number. What really matter is how you feel, that you are healthy and fit, your body is proportional etc.
If you choose to starve yourself like some holywood "beauties" eating 1000 calories and no treats at all your whole life, that is your choice.
