Music that Moves You

Options
Hey all,

Need some new workout & inspirational music. I find that posting SPECIFIC SONGS on here is better than just throwing out band names. Hope to find some good walking/jogging music as I pick up exercising again. Inspirational music can be music that doesn't necessarily have a good workout beat, but something that moves you to change your life in a positive way.

Inspirational: "The Greatest" by: R. Kelly // "A Change Is Gonna Come" by: Sam Cooke // "This Is Your Life" by: Switchfoot

Workout: "Too Close" by: Alex Clare // "It's Time" by: Imagine Dragons // "Some Nights" by: Fun. // "The Proof of Your Love" by: For King & Country // "Shake It Out" by: Florence + The Machine // "Cinema" by: Skrillex // "Mountains" by: Biffy Clyro

That's a good one! I saw Ben Rector perform that live in Austin, TX - his rendition is so awesome! Check it out :)

I like the old school stuff...
Eye of the Tiger, by Survivor. The best!
And then there's Roll with the Changes, by REO Speedwagon.

I've been looking for new workout music as well. My workouts are usually better when I'm enjoying my workout playlist. I usually listen to the heavier stuff. Just downloaded some new songs last night:
    Godsmack-Rocky mountain way
    Chevelle-Face to the floor
    Linkin Park-Burn it down

    Other favorites are:
    Stinkfist-Tool
    Awake and Alive-Skillet
    Bully-Shinedown
    Shipping up to Boston-Dropkick Murphys
I never wanted- As I lay Dying
Indestructible- Disturbed(really good once you get past all the soundfx at first)

    If you like:

    Techno - Avicii, Levels (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ovdm2yX4MA)

    Pop - RIO ft. U-Jean, Animal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYn3ch2fjxQ)

Classic Rock - Boston, Higher Power (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEMTu-VxixY)

That's what I've been listening to lately, anyway! If you like any of those suggestions, I can give you more like them.

Partial to faster Christian Rock when I'm working out ... next to my faith, I connect to music strongly, so I find that intensely motivating when exercising! :) ... keeps me going that extra mile (literally, lol) ...

I went for some upbeat stuff today while I was working out. Treadmill jogging is so much better to the rhythm of "Wake me up before you go-go" by Wham!

"No Boundaries" by Adam Lambert and "Firework" by Katy Perry. They both have me going if I use them as the last songs in a workout.
