Lost voice :(

Hi guys! I know this seems like a really silly question, but I have tonsillitis and have completely lost my voice! I've been hydrating with water all day, but I was wondering if anyone knew what else I could do to help my voice? It's pretty bad at the moment :(.

    When my wife had that problem I told her to try to stop talking for a year. Unfortunately she wouldn't follow my advice.

    my partner is enjoying my silence :p, but it seems that keeping quiet helps :x
