a small question!!

Hi Guys,

I am a little confused here...i am on a 1200 cal. diet, now when i try to eat adequate cals my carbs go in minus and when i try to keep all in sync my cals become less...the carbs to eat in a day are so less that i am not able to find a break even point. My question is...r u also facing the same prb? is it ok to eat more carbs in order to eat adequate amount of cals???

    I am not a nutritionist but I am on a 1200 day diet too. I haven't really had any trouble with my carbs so can't help you. But my diary is open so you can check it out and see what I am eating to reach my 1200 day goal and not go over (although I DO go over a little om purpose because sometimes I try to eat back some of my exercise calories).

    I want to add that it's possible I go over my carb limit and don't know it. I get most of my input from the MFP database and so if someone didn't log in the carb calories they won't show up when I add the meal.

    I changed my default nutrition goals in mfp to 40% carb, 30% protein, 30% fat because that better reflects the program I follow. Work out what you want your proportions to be that suit your program and set your mfp to that. :-)

    thnx for all the replies guys....hmmm im still confused though...coz i tried eating more fat just for two days...and i ended up coming upto 57.5 from 56.3...:(...took me another 4 days to fall down to 56.3.....unfortunately had a bday party the week next and i had another piece of cake :_( went upto 56.9....gosh!!...this calorie fat thing is driving me crazy....i wonder if i ll ever reach my goal this way or maybe i have to stop all cakes and other fatty stuff!!...hmm but that means ...the day i eat that stuff i go back up on weight!!! :(
