Dear god where to start on these DVD....

Well, my birthday is coming in a few weeks. I was surprised with the following DVDs as well as some kettlebells, a yoga mat and 2 blocks, and a 55" ball and a little ball for my back/core I guess. It was sweet of them to do this but I am a bit overwhelmed and no idea where to start. I do go to the gym several times a week: personal training 2x <M and Th> and other days <F-Su> I do some sort of cardio like treadmill and swimming. Swimming has been the easiest on my knees.

DVDS are....

Jillian Michaels:

‘Banish Fat Boost Metabolism’
‘No More Trouble Zones’
'30 Day Shred'
'Yoga Meltdown'
6 WEEK SIX-PACK'
Shred-It With Weights
For Beginners (Frontside/ Backside Combo)

Bob Harper:

Bob Harper: Beginner's Weight Loss

Biggest Loser:

The Workout - Weight Loss Yoga
The Workout - Last Chance Workout

Questions is where do I start? I have been trying to lose the weight (191 atm, started at 215, lost a few before finding this site) for a long time and not succeeded so far. My goal weight is 140 but hopefully lower to 130/125ish. I have managed to lose about 24 lbs in total but I have a long way to go. I have been in PT regarding my knees and hip, so I am a little leery about lunges etc. Out of these...what is the best place to start? And why?

Thank you!

Given your hip/knee issues, I'd start with anything labeled 'Beginner' and work my way up to other stuff. Another idea is to just watch a little bit to see what sort of stuff they're doing, modifiers provided, and see if that would work for your current physical limitations, running your choices by the PT.

They released me from PT a few weeks back, basically said to stay away from stairmaster and if it hurts stop. They did recommend swimming.

If it was me, I'd probably start with the Bob Harper Beginner, then try to graduate further in stages. I speculate that his is really aimed at beginners where the Jillian Michaels stuff is a little more hardcore. Do her biginner later.
