Like in the wash? Hardly ever. I wash the sensors with antibacterial handsoap once every one or 2 weeks, or when it starts acting funny..

The elastic strap goes in the washing machine once every week or so.
The plastic part gets a wash when I think of it - less often than the elastic because I'm a bit scared of getting water into the electronics.

I never put it in the washing machine but wash it under water in the sink, and rub liquid laundry detergent on the strap about once a week.

I give the sensor part a good wipe down after every use, I laundered the strap every couple weeks.

I wash the actual transmitter every day. I used to wash the strap every week. I can't remember when was the last time I washed it. That is pretty gross.

yeah i didnt think about this. i need to change the battery and i can't even get the cover to move over to the "open" position. i'm assuming all that sweat, body salt and overall meshashesha juice soaked into the opening and dried into a layer of crust that will take a diamond to cut through

i've read stuff online where people had holes drilled on the side of the battery cover but um yeah i'm a girl so dont have a drill laying around the house  i might just end up sending it to polar and let them charge me for changing the battery
