Encouragement in need

Hey guys,
I'm new at this and I really do hope that I get where I want to be. I dont want to tell my life story but its been a hard year so far losing my dad to cancer and recovering from an operation.. I put alot of weight on.. and I just really want to be happy again.I've tried
losing weight but everytime I get streesed or worried about something I just use food as a "reliever" so I cant think of the bad and stressful things.. I have this dance at the end of the year and I really do hope that I can be comfortable in my own skin aswell as being healthy. So I hope you guys would add me and support me through the way as I will do the same.

Sorry your year has been so hard:-( Taking care of yourself is a good way to start feeling better. I also use food as a pressure release valve. I'm a bit (Okay, more than a bit) older than you, so I've been working on the food issues for a while. My approach is "everything in moderation" coupled with "forgive yourself for the slips-ups and move forward". I'd be happy to support you.0
