100 push up & 200 sit up challenge question

i decided that i was going to start both these challenges in August. My questions are very basic: for people that have done it before, would you recommend I do them each the same day or each every other day? And also, can I still work on my arms & chest while doing these challenges, or will i be too sore?

I've done them. Since they're both core exercises I did them both in the same day. I found working out aside from that was a difficult task, and I started in the highest tier for pushups.0
