I've been told that chromium can help to reduce sweet food cravings as it regulates the blood sugars. Has anyone ha any success with this?

I take chromium polynicotinate... I don't know if it's had a positive or negative effect, because I've been making so many other changes. I suspect I'll stop taking it once my bottle runs out.

Included in my multi-vitamins. Chromium at some point was included in my fat burners and still are.

Most Americans are chromium deficient. Supplementing 400mcg a day for a start is good for just about anyone.

Wow, these are more positive and numerous responses than I thought I would get! Fab!

I was taking them for a month or so and couldn't tell if they were really making a difference to my needs for sugar, as I had become a lot more disciplined. However after that month, I've left it about 2 weeks without and started having more sugary cravings.

So I have got some more and giving them another bash.

That's interesting, as a Brit I wouldn't know if we are the same? What makes Americans more deficient?

I was just taking 1x 200ug tablet but will take them twice a day now for hopefully a stronger effect
