What should I do?

I have a Mio Triumph HRM. I wear it on my wrist over my vein and start it before my workout and check my heart rate every 5 minutes or so. The problem I'm having is the calories burned is way below what the machines or MFP says.
When I do my strength training for 20 minutes, it says I burn 15-20 calories but MFP says 90.
When I do my elliptical workout for 35 minutes it says I burn 275-290 and the elliptical says I burn 340-360 and MFP says 467.
I know MFP isn't always on dot. But should I listen to my HRM or the machines/MFP?

MFP is way high on their calorie burn numbers on most things. Unfortunately most machines are off as well. The most accurate way is to measure your HR and then use a calculator to get your calories burned.
There are several available online, here's one: http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-based-calorie-burn-calculator.aspx0
