Darn you, life. You RUINED my figure!

Not that I had one in the first place...
Anyway.
My name's Sally. I'm 21, and annoyingly, I have the figure of a pygmy hippo. Very, very cute, very small, but sadly as wide as a house.
I won't say I'm not partially to blame, but due to some... ahem. 'Weed problems' in my parents garden as a child, I ended up with an unfailing case of the munchies from very early on, until I started college. Jars of peanut butter and spoons in my bedroom, chocolate bars behind my sitting room chair, you name it. Any change I had access to, I spent on sugary things that did me no good at all.
Then came years of solitary confinement. Shutting myself away with a computer and the internet due to a particularly hard time at school , the pounds leeched onto my thighs and backside like they were made of the nectar of gods.
But yeah... With all that, and then since two years ago, I gained a wonderful little immune deficiency, IgA deficiency, which makes me ill quite often, and unable to exercise when it matters most, and being put on the contraceptive implant, which just bloated me up a fair bit, I just... feel it's time to get rid of my excess weight in time for my life starting again.
But the thing about me is... I'm too shy. I can't talk to people, and I can't make friends to encourage me. I just... have never been the one to approach someone to start a conversation.
So... Talk to me, help me a lil' bit? I bloody well need it. People won't stop leaving bloody SNACKS around the house!

Add me as a friend!! I was in your boat at 21 and have just now really gotten serious about my health at 35. Don't wait like I did. You are in the prime of your life, and you can do it! Keep checking in. I started 27 months ago on Myfitness and in July I finally started checking in on the daily, now, I am seeing results.0

Hey, everyone. Thanks for all the great responses. Sorry that I didn't reply sooner, but... Y'know. Scotland and all. I'm in the wrong time zone, but I do need to sleep sometimes... SOMETIMES.
I would reply to you all, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the kindness, but thank you all, anyway.0 -
