Hey everyone!! :flowerforyou: How accurate do you think the Wii Fit calories burned is? My DH bought it for me and I love love love it, but I'm not sure about the calories burned. I did 45 min today, including yoga, strength training and aerobics :drinker: and it said I burned 233 calories. Does that sound accurate?

Sounds pretty accurate, considering Yoga and Strength training don't burn that many calories. The only way to know for sure would be by tracking your heart rate. Do you have a HRM?0 -
It sounds pretty accurate to me! I have the regular Wii Fit and ADORE it! So I timed how long I spent doing each thing (yoga and aerobics). I then entered them into the database based on what I did, and it seemed to match pretty well with what you're saying.0

I have a heart rate monitor and Wii Fit Plus estimates my calories burned to be almost twice as many as my HRM says I really am burning. I don't think it is accurate at all!!! Without a HRM, I would suggest being conservative and not eating all the calories your Wii says your burning.0

I generally try to do that anyways. Eat about half my exercise calories....
I think it depends on how you do the exercises. I've found Wii Fit Plus to be accurate for me, but Wii Biggest Loser to be on the low side!0 -

I figure it has more to do with how well you fit into the standards they used when they came up with the estimations themselves, just like the machines at the gym.0 -
