My blood pressure been up lately. My guess is due to me being overweight and not active, i have not exercised much in a long time. I am about 80 lbs. overweight. If i start eating right and exercise and lose weight, will it fix my blood pressure problem and lower my blood pressure?

It depends how high it is and what if any other underlying medical issues you have are. For me mine was borderline high (not super high but just on the line) and after losing 40lbs and exercising regularly it went right down to a very healthy number. Then even with the exercise and healthy eating it shot back up due to kidney stones. So it really all depends on if it's just up because of your lifestyle or if there are other issues. I say it doesn't hurt to try and lose some weight and be more active and see if that helps Good luck!0

I have blood pressure problems. I lost 37 lbs and thought that would fix it, as I am at my goal weight. But it didnt, I have strong hereditary vascular problems in my family. I still have to take meds. Im 5'5" and 136 and I exercise every other day. Really wanted to get off meds, but it just wasnt gonna happen....good luck!0
