I know this is probably brought up on a regular basis, but I need to know... Well, what does everyone here do when they're experiencing intense cravings? What things do you typically find yourself craving? And how do you deal with them?

Pulparindo extra hot. It is an obscure little mexican candy.
Indian food. Some days I can kill for a good spicy curry and an ice cold lager.
A simple chocolate bar.
I constantly crave flaming hot, sour and salty things. I often crave meat. I rarely crave carbs. I never crave anything sweet.
My solution? I make a grilled chicken basted with tandoori spices, and serve it with a simple tomato based curry that has no added fats or carbs but a lot of spice and have it with kelp noodles. Or with a tamarind based sauce when the pulparindo cravings start.
I will have that lager, or chocolate bar, but stick to one small glass, or three small squares of the chocolate instead of the entire bar.0 -
I'm still really new to this, but lately I've been getting up and getting a big glass of lemon water when I get a craving, and then I go find something different to do at work. Sometimes the distraction is enough to help me forget a craving, even if it's just for an hour or so. Then I'm closer to a meal, so it's easier to deal with.
I also crave salty/spicy things. And cheese and meat. I rarely ever crave sweet foods.
Stick with it!0 -
I drink flavored water (like mixing in the lemonade or pink lemonade mixers from crystal light or the off brand wal mart kind) If the cravings still persist I will eat either a frozen fruit or fudge bar since they are a little better for you. I am a sucker for Cheeze its so I just try not to buy them. I also remember that tomorrow is a new day and if I give in to my cravings once in a while it really wont ruin my goals in the long run (last night I had about a serving or two of aldi's brand cheeze its but still stayed within my goals for the day because I did about 20 min of cardio Stay strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
