Swimming! I used to be a swimmer and lifeguard in my thinner days. I'm AMAZED at how beautiful some of them make it look!

Gymnastics! It reminds me of what I used to be able to do with my body, and it makes me want to do it again. I used to be a competitive youth gymnast (never NEAR as good as the fab 5), and I miss it.

Equestrian motivates me as well, because I love to ride anyway, and it inspires me to make my horses that much better.

Unsurprisingly, gymnastics, swimming and track. But I pretty much get excited about ALL Olympic sports. There's just something so amazing about rooting for these incredibly talented people who are representing your country.

Swimming. I love to be in the water and I would LOVE to be able to swim as fast as some of those athletes.

Anything we win at :P Great Britain has a smaller pool to chose our athletes from than you Americans!

I love rowing, swimming, diving, weight lifting and heptathlon. The Tri was pretty exciting this morning too!

I think you meant Team GB. :-p
  • Gymnastics definitely! I am a dancer, and these girls' athleticism and commitment and flexibility and strength are always inspiring to me. You can imagine how slob-like I felt when I was downing a honey-bun, a personal pint of cookie dough ice-cream, and chugging down a tall can of Arizona sweet tea in my vacation condo bed; while watching Gabby Douglas compete for the overall. Also it's nice to have a sport with mostly shorties representing. Now that I'm home from vacation, I'm kicking it into high gear.

For me it's track, swimming and soccer. Go Abby wambach! I still play soccer recreationally but nowhere in the right form. That's part of why I'm on here. To get stronger, better and as sexy :)

Women's gymnastics, hands down, for me. Those girls have more mental toughness than I could ever hope to have!!! I've always admired them. I remember watching Keri Strugg stick it out with her broken ankle in the '96 games... So inspiring!!!

    Just wanted to add something....

I get all mushy when I see athletes from other countries hug or shake hands or something after an event. It's a great reflection of what the Olympics are all about... Getting along :drinker:
  • Gymnastics and track. Those Olympians have the best bodies!
