I am about ready to give up...I am NOT losing weight! I am doing Jillian Michael's Body Revolution (week 6) after about four weeks of Slim in Six and eating very well. I drink tons of water. At first I thought I wasn't eating enough, so I upped my cals, and that is not working either. I have figured my TDEE and BMI and eery other acronym there is. PLEASE HELP!!!! What am I doing wrong???

muscle is replacing fat muscle weights more than fat by volume if you are losing inches then you are doing ok good luck0

How long have you been eating at your TDEE? Depending on how long you were eating LCD you might need to eat at TDEE for a full 8 weeks before you cut. Dont give up. I know it can be very frustrating. Try to remember its a journey not a speed race.0

According to your ticker you have lost three lbs, which is Awesome!
Just give it a little time, more than likely you're building muscle, which weighs more than fat but it WAY healthier.
Keep at it! Don't stop! I know you can do it! 's0 -
What is LCD? My TDEE is 2248, and my BMR is 1450. I am aiming for 1600 cals going in. Is this TOO high? Or NOT high enough? THanks for all your help!0

Probably going to get some hate for this but...
...try cutting out the carbohydrates. I was stalled for a very long time. I was doing hours of cardio a day and lifting weights but still never lost a pound eating at what mfp told me was required. I recently started a little to no carb diet called paleo. I lost eighteen pounds in what felt like the blink of an eye. Sugar and starch definitely have an effect on weight retention. There's a lot of good info out there. If you do not mind leaving mfp for advice I advise checking out Mark's Daily Apple. It's a site about Paleo/Primal.
Hope this helps,
S,
PS. In case you look at my page and wonder why I have not lost anything in while...I went on a camping trip a couple weeks ago. Nothing to drink but sugar water and soda. Ate like a kid in a candy store, and other than setting up and tearing down pretty much did not move. So I've been...recovering. Little to no carb works wonders but once you eat carbohydrate again it all comes back with a vengeance.0 -
At the end of the day is your NET calories above or below your bmr? If its below then you are not eating enough. Never eat below your bmr. If its below then eat up to or just over your bmr everyday. and be patient, the weight didnt come over night and it surely will not go away over night either.
I wouldn't suggest doing anything diet wise that you cant do for the rest of your life. Cutting out a certain food group leads to unhealthy binges and eventually you will eat that food group again then all the MAGIC weight you lost will come back. Make better choices, choices you can live with for the rest of your life. FAD diets are just that a FAD. They come and go but healthy eating, and lifting is somethig you can do for life.0 -
I looked at your diary and you're simply eating too much. You need to stay under 1600 calories a day, it's that simple.
Your dinners need to be smaller and you need to eat less carbs.0 -
Thank you all so much for your responses!!! I will continue to push forward!!!0
