i usually dont post on this site much but look at it for support but today i decided to today
yesterday a coworker of mine told me that you have lost some weight man and told me i looked alot different then when he first met me, this was suprising to me since im doing an internship in a new city and have only been here 2 months and lost only 8-10pounds. so when he told me this i was suprised, cause i couldnt see a difference.
the other part was today i ran my first 10k , ive done a few 5k's this summer since i only picked up running early this year. i was hoping to do it under 70min since i usually run a 10min mile on endurance runs. My 5k's the races i have done the best finish was 26:55, so i thought i would have been happy with the under 70min. Well during my run i kept asking people if they had a time and no one did, and near the end, i was only running with just one guy so i started feeling discouraged thought i ran to slow, but of course once i got to the finish line 54:15!!!!! i never thought i could do under 9 min mile. but these 2 things made my weekend!!!
also is it realistic for me to try to do a 1/2marathon by thanksgiving time?
