PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ANSWERING. [i just don't want to look bloated]

okay so i've got this big party on saturday, 11th aug, and i really wanna feel good and comfy. I'm working towards my long term goal of losing 60lbs but i need temporary fix just for saturday.
I've heard that water fast is a wonderful short term fix. Should i try it?(i know i'll gain all of it back)
I want to look less bloated with a flatter tummy(compared to today).
If there is some other way then please feel free to suggest. I just need it for saturday.

You havent clue what you're doing.

If you want to over think it then cut carbs to 20% total cals all week then eat whatever you want at the party.
You'll feel like **** all week but youll be thinner.

    Since thats whats important.

Lift high reps 3x a week for about an hour and vomit a few times.
    This depletes glycogen.

The party food will refill it and you probably wont gain any fat.

    Or

Buy an outfit that fits you well and say "F*** it!"

    Water fast.....

Here's some tips to help with your problem that are HEALTHY tips:
Here is what to do to get rid of the bloat:

1: Avoid Constipation by eating high fiber foods
2: Rule Out Wheat Allergies or Lactose Intolerance.
    3: Don't Eat Too Fast.
    4: Don't Overdo Carbonated Drinks.
5: Don't Overdo Chewing Gum.You swallow air, which causes bloating
6: Limit Sodium which is in high processed foods
7: Go Slow with Beans & Gassy Vegetables (I think this explains itself)
8: Watch Out for Sugar-Free Foods consuming too much sugar alcohol in artificially sweetened foods & drinks can lead to bloating
9: Eat Smaller Meals More Often...eating more frequently can also help control blood sugar and manage hunger.
10: Try Anti-Bloating Foods and Drinks like peppermint tea, ginger, pineapple, parsley, and yogurts containing probiotics ("good" bacteria) may help reduce bloating.

THIS ^ Taking the time to shop around can do wonders for your figure. Try out one of those pairs of belly flattening undergarments underneath and you'll hold in tight all day.

This. The right outfit can makeup for some flaws. You can't lose enough weight to make a difference in one week.

I did read your post carefully. Rather than advise you to do something unhealthy like drink nothing but water, why not celebrate the pounds you've already lost by wearing a kickass outfit?

Hate to tell you this, but sometimes as women we can't help but be bloated. You could cut out certain foods, go on a fast, etc. and you could STILL wake up Saturday morning inflated like a balloon. Don't do anything stupid because it's not worth it.

My only advice would be to buy a corset.

I wouldn't advise the water fast.

Instead, to minimise the bloated feeling/look you could:

    1) Watch your sodium intake. No takeaways, fast food, ready meals etc I'm not talking about never, just not in the few days before the party. They have lots of salt (sodium) in and I know that after I have them, my stomach is like a balloon the next day! (just water weight, not fat)

    2) Limit your carbs. I personally would never do this as I don't function well on low carb, but many people seem to have success with it. It won't help with fat loss if your calories are the same, but it may help not to hold onto as much water.

    3) Keep a healthy fibre amount so that you are visiting the bathroom regularly. If you are all "full up" then not only will you probably look a bit bloated, it doesn't feel great either!

...and (although it's outside your control) It not being TOM will help.

Combine this with a flattering outfit. I doubt with 60lbs to lose you will look exactly how you want, but you can still look the best in the situation without resorting to drastic quick fixes :)
