Maybe a gentle walk, or if walking is painful, swimming? Or even get some dumbbells and so some arm workouts

What exercises did your physician/specialist tell you?

That is where you should really be asking this question where they treated you...

There is this website called workoutsondemand.com. They have a special right now! Cost $3.25 for 1 month. You can stream over 140 workout videos. They cover everything. I actually think they have a section called low impact!

Ouch. Have you tried an elliptical? No matter what you do, you'll still need to take it gently. I hurt mine during a pregnancy (so no x-rays to know if it fractured or not), and it was excruciating. I am so sorry -- I hope you are healed soon!

Definitely swimming, I had a back injury that left me with disk degeneration and to begin with I swam. Swimming burns tonnes of calories and barely has any impact.

Swimming would be acceptable, actually very very slow moving trough water, rather then swimming. But better yet, update your diet to suite your energy needs, meaning stop exercising until your coccyx heal.

I had to do low impact the last couple of years and what really worked for me was Leslie Sanson Walk Away The Pounds. Its a workout DVD but you can find it online too. Its low impact but I lost about 10 -15 lbs just from doing that in the beginning and Leslie is so motivational to work out to. Hope this helps:)

You could try walking or swimming or for toning excersise you could fill bottles with water and excerise your arms? When I was preganant and wanted to stay fit a bought an excerise ball and sat on that rotating my hips and lightly bouncing .. even if you sat on a chair or sofa and lifted your legs up.. it's a long shot but maybe have a look at excerise after birth coz the excerises are gentle it might work for you.. hope you feel better soon goodluck x

Done it too. the only thing that worked for me was what I could do lying on the floor, Or bed if you can't get down or up from the floor. Even arm exercises are better than nothing. There are lots of upper body exercises. Try Stretching (gently). Try everything, (you know what Not to do) go slowly. If it aggravates it. Do something else. It will take time. But don't stop everything. Don't rush it. Yup. It hurts. Good Luck.

I would avoid elliptical as it can bother your lower back. How about treadmill, walking, swimming or recumbent bicycle? All are pretty easy on your body. Walking is the best exercise ever and can help you heal, too :) best of luck!
