18th Birthday Gift Ideas

Hey people, so my friend is turning 18 this week and i want to get her a cool, inexpensive gift that's still meaningful. Any ideas?

    You could always do a themed gift basket. For example, a movie themed basket could include: an awesome movie, popcorn, their favorite candy and drink, fleece blanket, etc. or a spa themed basket: nail polish, face masks, bubble bath, candle, neck warmer, etc.......I also like to just go from what that person likes and throw abunch of random stuff in it lol. Just an idea.

    Baskets themselves can be purchased very inexpensively at yard sales or craft stores. Then you can fill the basket with goodies.

    Another alternative is using a jar or a mug. A favorite soup mix can be given in a jar, or a small gift can be given in a mug. A website you might look at is www.LivingOnADime.com.

    if u have a vase laying around that you don't need, you can do a "bouquet" of some of her favorite things. I did this for my hubs for V-day on year, got wooden skewers (like for grilling kabobs) and stuffed some red tissue paper in the bottom of a vase i had and then taped things to it that he likes (from the gas station) a small bag of sunflower seeds, gum, his favorite candy, little bag of cashews, and a couple lottery tickets
